I enjoy taking my practice and knowledge of Yoga to many places. In addition to teaching at studios, businesses and homes, I LOVE incorporating Yoga with the outdoors and sports. Whether it be teaching a class outside, hiking, biking, running, water or organized sports, Yoga is the perfect complement.
My Yoga practice started out with a simple curiosity in my mid twenties. I took classes on and off, but after many years of working a physically demanding job, dealing with anxiety and taking up cycling I returned to Yoga consistently.
Yoga has allowed me to find balance, strength and flexibility in my body and mind. After several years of experiencing such benefits I chose to get my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification at Himalayan Yoga and Meditation Center.
In becoming a part of the Yoga community I have a true sense of being where I belong and I want to share the benefits I experience and the knowledge I gain to cultivate positivity in others.
I believe the world would be a better place if more people practiced Yoga.
